Accessibility Statement
Mokiyo is committed to making www.mokiyo.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and screen magnification.
Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard commonly referenced for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we work to meet or exceed this standard as the site evolves.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmark regions.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Full keyboard operability, a visible keyboard focus indicator, and a “Skip to main content” link.
- Color contrast that meets WCAG 2.1 AA for text.
- Respect for the “reduce motion” system setting — background and slideshow animation is disabled for users who request it — plus a play/pause control on the screenshot slideshow.
- Form fields with associated labels and status messages announced to assistive technology.
- A responsive layout that supports zoom and reflow on small screens.
Known limitations
Mokiyo is an early-stage company and this site is updated frequently. Despite our efforts, some content may not yet fully meet every success criterion. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us — see below — and we will prioritize a fix.
How we assess accessibility
We evaluate this site through a combination of manual review, keyboard-only testing, and automated accessibility tools. We re-check accessibility when we make significant changes to the site.
